Really a long trip, the time I took the taxi to airport in Rome yesterday is 4:00pm, but it is 5:00pm in shanghai when I get home. I am very tried physically, but I still can not help stopping recalling everything I captured in Rome.

I was totally overwhelmed by the beauty of Rome. Ancient and modern stuff exist together acrossing seamlessly. The history of ancient Rome and the splendid Renaissance artworks can be seen not only in museums, but also everywhere in the city. Not to say the St. Peter’s Basilica which is the largest church in the world, every church among hundreds is so wonderful with exquisite decorations. The ancient Rome Forum is just in the heart of the city. The relics here just come up with a vivid picture to reflect the real life hundreds yeas ago and it is so amazing to imagine how prosperous it is here during that period.  

I was impressed deeply by Rome, and I think it should be listed on the list of my favorite places and worth recommending.

Two weeks flied away. No sports, no gathering, just work. February is the month planning for the whole year, so there are a lot of brainstorms, a lot of uncertainties. I have been working on my new job for one month, but still in learning cycle. It’s a long way to go to be a professional PR, the challenging job which is always exciting.

I went to Beijing last Tuesday for business purpose. Stayed in Holiday Inn Hotel and worked to midnight. The air in Beijing was very fresh although a little bit cold. The second day was quite interesting although pretty busy, since I visited a vendor, and impressed by its office.

Their office is in an old and discarded church. It is made of wood with a very high roof. When I stepped into the church, a very fat cat appeared suddenly and walked away slowly. Then a white-black dog came to me with swinging tail. Several birds were flying and then I found a bird nest on the roof. People are working quietly among many green plants. The meeting room was in the front of the church, and semi-closed by glass, actually it was once the stage for priest. A table-tennis table was put there as the meeting table. When we left at 11:30am, 4 young guys began to play badminton in central area. This kind of working environment is so natural and harmonious. Working there must be very relaxed. That company was built up by a foreign couple. The husband is the CEO who comes from US, the wife is a mixed-blood with Chinese and British origin. This private company is not very large but provides good service to many large famous companies.

Always busy for work recently. The weather is getting warmer and warmer. Don't forget to do some exercises and gather with friends. Work is just a part of life, isn't it?

Unfortunately, an accident happened in Ski Site this afternoon. It is my first time to see blood relevant to snowboarding.

That is a father who takes two little kids, and comes from Australia. He tried to jump over a high snow pile but fell down with his head knocked on hard ice. When I saw him, his forehead was still bleeding. I was scared when I heard his first sentence after falling: what’s happened. But he recovered little by little. A guy from US used to be a fireman, he volunteered to instruct everything: call ambulance first, keep asking questions to test his memory, keep him warm, move him onto a stretcher, call his wife and find his children and so on. He was sent to hospital nearby later. Wish everything is fine with him.

Snowboarding is a kind of sport with great charm, but also very dangerous. My friend told me that snowboarding in high mountains is the most dangerous sport in the world as the number of death or hurt is most.  

I should buy a helmet as soon as possible I think.

It was my 12^th times to play snowboard this Saturday. I stayed in the skiing site for a whole day as it was really an exciting day. To my surprise, there are so many good snowboarders in the site that day. I am able to control myself when I slide down from the top of the slope in the track of ‘S’. But I challenged myself and tried to jump over a big snow pile this time.

There is a ‘snowboard mellow park’ sponsored by Nokia in the site. You could try to do some kind of beautiful but difficult actions there. I joined them but failed for several times. I was afraid of speed at first so the speed was not enough to reach the top of snow pile. Unfortunately, I hurt my neck when I fell down. But to my pleasure, it was not as difficult as I expected. I succeeded soon. One time, two times… with the rising of my success rate, I became more and more confident in it.

Besides, I got some new friends: Jean, a guy from France who encouraged a lot; another guy from Switzerland who could ski before he could walk well; Tam, the snowboard coach; Johnny, a good snowboarder in 3-S club; Also, Spirit, Xiaomi, Xiaoxi, Lily are all members of club.

It is really very good to see the progress and improvement of myself, and also to have new friends. I wish I would have chance to play snowboard outdoor on the mountain one day.
